Aiming for continuous growth in our corporate activities, AISIN AW believes fulfilling our corporate social responsibility (CSR) is imperative. Accordingly, in our corporate efforts to fulfill this goal, we are promoting projects to ensure "transparency," "soundness," and "compliance."
In this process, it is important for all our employees to view themselves as interested parties and aggressively solve issues.
From the viewpoint of "Quality Supremacy," AISIN AW believes that human resources are our most indispensable assets and a source of corporate vitality.
Our fundamental corporate principle is contributing to our clients and society through our human resources and accomplishing corporate growth and employee satisfaction. And with this corporate principle, we have established "AISIN Group Principles of Corporate Behavior" and "Guideline in Compliance with Social Responsibility" as our CSR policy.
In 2003, AISIN AW enacted "AISIN AW Principles of Corporate Behavior" and has since practiced our CSR activities.
Recently, CSR requirements have been raised and this implies a greater responsibility for our affiliates and our suppliers to meet these expectations.
In response to this change, "AISIN Group Principles of Corporate Behavior" was established in January 2010 as our code of conduct to meet our CSR. In the principles, all our employees comply with the laws and rules and behave in a decent manner in society.
Coupled with the enactment of "AISIN Group Principles of Corporate Behavior," "Guideline in Compliance with Social Responsibility" was created. This is distributed to our employees and details expected behaviors.
In order to integrate and promote our CSR activities, AISIN AW established "Business Ethics Committee" in November, 2005. In this committee, our company president presides as the committee chairperson, director and statutory auditor are members.
In addition, in March 2010, we organized four subcommittees that include "Compliance Subcommittee," "Public Relations/Liaison Subcommittee," "Internal Control Subcommittee," and "Risk Management Subcommittee" as a subsidiary body of this committee. As a company, we have been promoting our CSR activities through close cooperation with the committee/subcommittees.
For higher corporate values, AISIN AW believes it is important to build an amicable relationship with our stakeholders and provide our clients with satisfactory products.
In order to prevent confidential or personal information from being disclosed not only for our company but also for our clients and customers, AISIN AW establishes various regulations and complies with the laws/regulations and societal norms.
