Aisin Group to Exhibit at Automotive Engineering Exposition 2016 Yokohama

The six Aisin Group companies* including Aisin AW Co., Ltd. will jointly exhibit at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2016 Yokohama, which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama (Nishi-ku, Yokohama City) from May 25 (Wed) to 27 (Fri).
AW will exhibit the high torque capacity FWD 8-speed AT, which has excellent fuel efficiency and power performance; a CVT employing technologies for low fuel consumption and high efficiency; and a hybrid transmission achieving impressive downsizing and low fuel consumption. The company will also introduce a car navigation system under development together with technologies and features used for the product that contribute to improved viewability and operability, through the linking of two displays, for example.

The Aisin Group will exhibit products and videos introducing technologies together with engineering development scenarios, focusing on the three solutions of "environment and fuel economy," "security and safety" and "comfort and convenience," thereby introducing its capability for advanced technologies and development related to hybrid and automated driving technologies, which are currently attracting attention in the automobile industry.
Regarding hybrid technology, the products and technologies contributing to enhanced fuel economy provided by Aisin Group companies will be introduced by exhibiting products which comprise a system with which the latest hybrid vehicles are equipped.
Regarding automated driving technology, videos will be presented introducing the technologies under development, such as emergency roadside pull-over and remote control parking.
The Aisin Group will continue its research and development activities in order to provide better products and new value that can meet our users' expectations.
